Presently working as a professor in the Department of mathematical and Computational Sciences(MACS) and place in the 5^th  place among the people working on Graph labeling problems (Ref: www.graphtheory.com).

• Taught for nearly 4 years in Gokahle Centenary College, (Arts and Science) Ankola during 1981-85
• Teaching in KREC/NITK  Surathkal since September 1992.

• Post Doctoral Fellowship of Institute of Mathematical Sciences (MATSCIENCE) Chennai.
  

• Published 23 papers in refereed National/International journals and 4 papers in conference proceedings. Papers are reviewed in Mathematical Reviews.
  
• Two successfully completeted the Ph.D under my guidance and four memebers doing research my guidance
•  Guided 20 M. Tech(System Analysis and Computer Applications), 30 MCA projects and 4 Undergraduate projects.
•  Presented papers/given invited talks at 25 national and 15 international conferences held in India/abroad.
